This is Boyan.
Panthera tigris altaica - Amur tiger.
This photo was taken on the 20/9 - 2014.
This was the last time I took photos of the tiger cubs before they got sent off to three different zoos.
The tiger on the photo is the oldest male tiger at the zoo and his name's Boyan. He is usually in the small
enclosure but he was in one of the biggest enclosure this day, because there was an event going on at the
zoo where people could eat while watching the tigers during the evening and the zoo decided to have the mother
and the three cubs in the small enclosure for this event.
Boyan is a really beautiful tiger and he is so calm. I am a sucker for big cats - especially tigers.
