Description

Tired flamingo.

Phoenicopterus roseus - Greater flamingo.
This photo was taken on the 10/7 - 2013.

This was my second day at Parken Zoo and I really fell in love with the enclosure for flamingos. It's not
really even an enclosure, it's just ropes around a big plot of grass - which includes a pond. It REALLY photo
friendly and I sat down several times while I took photos of the flamingos, because I wanted to get to their
level.

My boyfriend actually left my by the flamingos and went to sit on a bench behind me and I didn't notice
that until a man came and stood beside me and looked at me, haha. I thought my boyfriend was standing
behind me so I was talking pretty much all the time.... xD

This may just be one of the best photos you have taken in regards of flamingos. The lighting is magnificent and the focus your camera allows your photo to show all of the minute details this elegant bird has. The pose is just as wonderful as the rest of your art work, all I can say is that it is stunning and since I am not all that experienced in the photography line of work, I am empty-handed for constructive criticism. Hopefully you can catch some more photos of these colorful birds! Something I might suggest is to get a full body of a flamingo, you seem to have their heads, bodies, etc. Maybe even one with it's wing outstretched! Best of luck to you!
